A beautiful telescope, but after my first night out with it, my aching back has informed me that this is not one that will be staying. Restored to gleaming condition, this is a very early Mark III mount with dual slow motions & stalks (RA motor works apparently, but is not hooked up). Where appropriate, the brass gleams, and other parts are newly painted. The OTA is an A grade mirror (likely a D. Hinds: #3993A-F.L. 1281mm), and features an unusual vintage dual rate focuser, mirror access panel, original Fullerscopes tube cover, and a typical Fullerscopes OTA retaining ring to keep the scope in place while rotating. This scope also includes that very rare thing: silky smooth Fullerscopes castings! This MKIII equatorial mounting is (unusually) a beauty. Shipping is not possible for this telescope.
