*_See the review of the Skylight F15 in the December issue of Astronomy Now._* The Skylight F15 is a long focus refractor inspired by the golden age of English telescope making, and the refractors of T. Cooke & Sons. _*SEE THE F15 IN PERSON, CURRENTLY ON DISPLAY AT THE WIDESCREEN CENTRE IN LONDON.*_ Don’t be part of the herd. This is a high specification telescope designed for the individual. Featuring a diffraction limited 4”/F15 objective and state of the art, Baader Steeltrack dual speed Crayford focuser. Whether on a classic mount like a Unitron, or a state of the art Losmandy GM-8, the Skylight F15 will become your showpiece! All Metal. The only pieces of plastic on this telescope are the inner protective rings for the finder. Designed, and assembled by hand in the UK in limited quantities. Where possible, components are sourced from within the UK, including some bespoke parts. As it is hand assembled (& in the case of some elements, hand made), each example is individual & unique. Where required, the metal parts are prepared & polished by hand. While stunning to look at, viewing through the Skylight F15 is special. The experience of viewing through a well-built, long focus refractor is like few others, with tremendous planetary detail visible. *THIS IS NOT A CLONE.* The Skylight F15 is about pride of ownership, _an heirloom object_ that is not found at every star party or society meeting, and the pleasure of owning & using an instrument that is like no other. Due to its’ hand-made/assembled nature, even its’ few siblings are slightly different.
